about us
While I come from a long line of sewers, I haven't been able to identify any quilters in my family tree. So I'm going to claim my husband's great aunt who created the most beautiful full sized crazy quilt covered with an impressive array of embroidery (which I was lucky enough to inherit) as family. My mother, however, is an incredible seamstress who often made matching dresses for my 2 sisters and me along with coordinating hats.
I have been fascinated by fabrics and quilts as far back as I can remember. One of my fondest childhood memories is of cutting fabric squares, lining them up, arranging them, and rearranging them to achieve the most satisfying effect. I still do that.
Now I am fortunate enough to do that fulltime. One of my most heartwarming experiences is sharing that joy with quilters worldwide.
When I'm not in my studio, I hang out with my husband, Pat, and our children, Sydney, Egan, and Elias in central Minnesota.
